Nope. It could goes back to 1905 (not counting tinted movies). But the first short movie using technicolor was made in 1917 (now lost). The first color feature film is I think OLL OF THE SEA (1922) and it's avaible on DVD. The Viking is probably the first film to feature both colors and sound (even if there is no dialogue, there is sound)

I would like to see The Viking, it just seems so unique (A silent epic (I love the 1925 Ben-Hur) in colors and even sound!) Is it on DVD or VHS ?

Oh thank you; but it scares me, I would not want to pay for a dvd that could be a TV rip or I don't know.

I think you meant The Toll of the Sea (1922) not Oll of the Sea. ;)
