Did anyone else think that William Haines looks like an identical twin of Paul Rudd? I swear I thought I was watching Paul Rudd the whole time. The acting, mannerisms, etc. all reminded me of him too, but the face resemblance is uncanny. Just wondering if my wife and I were the only ones.

True, you have something there... I also thought of Steve Martin, for a few mannerisms. What's really stunning is how such a distant film in time can display moments of acting that are still relevant today. It's almost like watching contemporary actors "doing" the silent film style. The very clean restoration of the movie also brings it closer to us.
