This film is wonderful

I enjoy the occasion silent film but struggle with the pace of most of them, especially the long periods where the story cards are up. The Crowd is not like others though. The pace the crisp, the acting very good and story told well. Seeing real footage of 1927 NYC is priceless. Too bad James Murray's life and career did not take off from this. I could feel his emotion, even silently. A brilliant production.
