Agreed, also. 90 minutes is too long for such a lightweight story. It's pleasant enough, but trimming 10 minutes or so wouldn't hurt. Too many lingering close-ups of Betty Balfour. However, I did appreciate the way Hitchcock conveyed so much information visually, and with a minimum of title cards.
