TCM broadcast

Back in October 2005, or in the fall of the 2005, do any of you guys remember this being broadcast on TCM? I am asking because I remember watching it about midnight sometime in the fall of that year and afterwards they played a documentary on his life where they discussed how in his old age, while struggling with depression, he built an elaborate machine for the sole purpose of cracking walnuts.
Anyone know if the name of this documentary and if my memory of this broadcast date is indeed correct?
