Just saw this on TCM
Yes, great silent film with excellent and quoteworthy prose.
Just played this one on TCM. It looked very well restored and I really liked that they showed the orchestra at the end.
By the time I happened upon it, it was half over. Wow! What an epic! Based on Abbe Prevost's "Manon" which I mainly know from the opera treatment.
I had never heard of this film! Well they certainly restored it to a fair-thee-well. I hope they show it again soon and possibly put it out on DVD.
