How this isn't on the top 250 almost makes me laugh.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy that so many films are ranked higher than Sunrise.
On a site that's dedicated to movies too! Well, I rated it 10 anyway...
I also think F W Murnau's Faust should be on there. Have you seen that one?
