Mostly silent comedies. I love Buster Keaton.

But this blew my mind. Fantastic acting. Oh 1927... how I wish I'd been there, in the theater, for opening night.

Sunrise does make quite the impression. It was so moving to me.

It does have a particular, emotional power. One of my favorites.

Multiplex: 100+ shows a day, NONE worth watching. John Sayles' latest: NO distribution. SAD.
