Yes, you're right ! At the moment we have 6 silent films in the Top250.
The problem is that they don't get many votes and it takes much longer for them to get over 25000.

Today the 25000st vote was counted.
"Sunrise" ranks at the moment at No.118, so it missed the Top100
but with every new vote it will quickly rise there.
All in all, I was really surprised how fast the votes were coming in.
I guess the strategy to link other IMDB sites where similar-minded people could be
(like the board of "The Artist") worked...

I watched the movie 2 days ago because I saw the high user rating and the small number of votes missing for the Top 250. Was not disappointed, what a great movie! Nice to see it's now on the list so that more people get to know about the movie and watch it :)
