Best picture winner?
Why is this film only mentioned as an Academy Award winning picture On IMDB
and nowhere else?
In The Sixth Sense we find out that Haley Joel Osment is really Keyser Söze.
It's correct this way.
If you look closely you'll see:
"Sunrise" was 'Best Picture, Unique and Artistic Production'.
"Wings" was 'Best Picture, Production'.
Both films won 'Best Picture' in 1927, but for different reasons.
Since today the 'Best Picture' Academy Award is more for best artistic merit in general,
you could argue, that the real winner that year was "Sunrise".
