Best version?
Just got the blu ray of this which comes with two versions a 93 min and 79 min version. Which would people say is the best of the two?

It is the film Murnau made, and that Fox released in the United States. The 79 minute version was recently found in the Czech republic. It is shorter, rearranges the sequence of some scenes, and has Czech intertitles (which most people cannot understand).
Watch both, if you like, but watch the 93 minute version first: it is the film that won all the awards.
