Hi! Yes, 20th Century Fox remade this same movie in 1937 with Jimmy Stewart and Simone Simon in the Janet/Charlie roles. I got a copy from a private collector and absolutely loved Jimmy Stewart -- he was the best part of the movie!!!!!! He was sweet and funny and awkward and absolutely adorable!!! Simone was...okay. She was cute but, in my opionion anyway, was no Janet Gaynor. Sometimes, when she was trying to play Diane's innocence, she came across as being kinda dopey instead.

If you can find a copy on eBay, get it -- you'll really enjoy it in spite of the flaws. It's still enjoyable. There were also several versions on radio which I also have and love to hear over and over again!!!!! Can you tell I'm a tad obsessed?
