Anniversary of the October-revolution today

I saw it. Just not today - many, MANY days ago... ;)
(I did see "The Man with The Camera" a few days ago. Does that count? ;)

But then, propaganda films (and no, I don't use the word as an insult, rather as a genre) have always fascinated me.
(Not the coarse ones, of course. But when you feel your heart pounding with enthusiasm and eagerness to join either the Red Army or the Hitlerjugend or... well, whatever - then you know it's well done. ;))

Back to "Oktyabr": yes, it's impressive.
No doubt about it.

I watch it every year on November 7. As one of the great moments in human history, it deserves to be commemorated.
