London after midnight/tim burton
I'm surprised Tim Burton has never attempted to remake this. I think he would have done a great job

shareMy problem with Dark Shadows was that it seemed to make fun of the source material like the Starsky and Hutch film did. Now I was never a fan of that show, but from what I have seen I don't think you could have done anything other then a comedy. But Here, Burton could have made a great, gothic and macabre vampire film that could have set a new bar in the genra, like Interview with the Vampire did. But instead we get camp, and not in a good way.
Sadly, I don't think anyone will touch the property with a ten foot pole for a very long time because of what He did with it.
