The Music

During the mid 1980s in Britain I recorded from television the 112-minute version, which I learned while watching the 155-minute version on TCM, had an entirely different musical score. Why would the producers pay for two different scores??

To me, the 112-minute score is inspiring and memorable, and the 155-minute version, while supportive of the scenes, is forgettable.
