Zebras are extremely difficult to be tamed so we see in Sheena horses with stripes. And yet here we are watching a chariot pulled by zebras with feathers tied on their foreheads, check them:

Yes a very interesting detail....

It might have helped that there were four of them harnessed together. And all they had to do was come on and go off -- all in a straight line in one narrow plane. The charioteer didn't even have to turn them.
