The Story of Christ

Finally a movie, where I could understand what Jesus's life and death, were really all about. For me the story was always complicated, especially for me,not being a religous person.I hated the cruel people, who were the enemies of Jesus Christ, and I had to fast forward the torture/Crucifiction scenes.I loved the way Warner was filmed in a aura of light, and he was so good in the role,in the way he conveyed kindess, and tolerance. The color scenes were beautiful, and I could see where the money went,in this big budget silent.

when i was a kid i was highly religious. i believed and i still do, but somehow someone gave me a book titled "jesus christ never existed" by emilio bossi. it was an interesting book. i wish everyone would read it, so that we understand that god gave us the facility to engage in dialect and that the historical jesus might not be so. i have faith, but i cannot condemn people who don't have it.
