The scene where adult Jack is rejected by his father had me crying


When the adult successful Jack returns home and his father rejects him ordering him to leave his house was so powerful.
To me it played out like a gay son being rejected by his family.

It was really powerful. The look on Jolson's face was heartbreaking. I also teared up at his reunion with his mother (because I'm emotional and sappy =P).
