Clara Bow is it me or is she the most beautiful woman I have seen

I first heard about this movie when I was watching Siskel and Ebert at The Movies show. Later I rented it from Netflix and behold I never thought I would love watching a silent film like I did "It" with Clara Bow. Clara Bow is hard not to love. Its like the girlfriend I always wish I could have but never had. I wish I lived in those times. It is amazing how film can make time stand still and make an impact decades later. Well, I think there are fans out there who share some thoughts.

prmass1; Though I would not go that far, Ms. Bow did have 'IT'! Her performance was attractive, natural and vivacious. I would like to see a-lot more of her movies. Unfortunately Universal has the rights to these Paramount films and for some reason keeps them buried in their vaults. No doubt hoping they all disintegrate so they can get a tax write-off for their lost value!

Yep, she is definately up there in the Golden Age Of Hollwood classic beauties. Hard not to disagree. I saw Wings first then this. Hard not to dislike her in either. She has more of a role in this which is fantastic to see. But yes, for its time it was great, doesn't look it's aged badly tbh.

Well, I definitely thought she was very attractive/cute and full of life as well. I kept thinking throughout that this is quite a beautiful woman. Makes you wanna go find a chic like that in real life. I understand why she was the "it" girl of the time.

Oh absolutely. She's the dream girl.

I was finally able to share this film with my ex over the weekend. She hates silent films, but fell in love with Clara and Monty. I think the simplicity of the story, good acting, and Clara was all that was needed to make this a great silent 'entry' film for people. On a side note, Clara was/is probably the CUTEST of the era, and perhaps ANY era. I simply love to watch her!

Obvious trolling is obvious.

She definitely had spunk and charisma. I would advise you to check out the biography on her called Running Wild. She had one wild life outside the movies!

Check out the thread for Runnin' Wild on her own discussion board, bit more of an insight to it!
