no, there is no sound in this file - it is really "silent".

Sorry, but in my opinion it is way better with music. I watched it today at the theatre and with a symphony orchestra and even though the music was very dominating at times... at other times it just fit perfectly, so if it is possible I recommend that you somehow get the music for it 'cause it is amazing =)

The best should be Archive.org's movie (that you can copy on DVD and watch on your TV) with GoogleVideo's sound.

I'll hope Google uses the original score. Ruttmann asked composer Edmund Meisel to accompany his visual symphony with his symphonic composition.

I am going to a screening tonight where an orchestra is playing the orignal score of the movie by edmund meisel...

Yes, I noticed it myself only a few days ago. Thanks for informing this thread. Sometimes videos that were removed are put up again on Google, but you never know when and if at all.

Fortunately the archive.org link still works.
