Voyager LD vs. Image DVD ???

Both Voyager and Image licenced the Killiam edition of this film. Voyager (i.e. Criterion) did there own transfer from the Killiam preservation film element for their laserdisc rather than use there 1" tape master. Which version appears on the Image DVD? (how does it compare to the laserdisc?)
