One is probably the public domain version, the other is either Moroder's 80s version or one of the more recent versions done by Kino (a bunch of footage was discovered in South America a few years ago).

I started the long one tonight. It's patched with film from the rediscovered full version in Brazil or wherever it was found. The script is from a rediscovered translation so it's as close to the original we can get. It's like 3 hours long!!! I'm watching it slowly. I did one hour today and, wow. I can't believe this was filmed in the late 20s. The set designs are phenomenal. Absolutely amazing. For a silent film I was surprised I did 1 hr with how tired I was. I didnt want to stop!
