Best Dog Ever?

Could be :)

The wonderful little dog is the best thing in the movie!

Move over, Rin Tin Tin and Lassie! You got *competition*...though it was interesting to see twenty year-old Joan Crawford as a lady cop on the silent screen (I was expecting her to be one of the floor dancers in the "Bookworm" speak-easy, as I've read such were the type of roles usually assigned to Crawford during her earliest years onscreen.)

Same here. Not that there's anything wrong with a woman being a cop!

I loved the dog, too, although I was concerned for him regarding the dangerous stunts and situations.

That dog did an amazing job! And he really seemed to be enjoying himself, and was so determined to be in the thick of the action. That fight scene where he's latched onto the seat of the guy's pants was hilarious.

Also, the dog's attempt to pull the hero out of the river was amusing. He really made the movie for me. I hope he was rewarded with some special treats at the end of that shoot!

To a new world of gods and monsters!

Yes, quite a talented dog (along with its trainer).
