Where are all the 'This version is better!' wanna-be sophisticates?

Most movies like this (bad movies that came prior to the hit re-vision/remake) get a horde of people talking about how the hit version is "overrated" and this un-heard of movie is better, and they're somehow the most correct person in the world, so that means this site is corrupt... but I see no people like that here.

It's kinda dissapointing... :(

Movies on IMDB are not overrated, you're just of the minority that doesn't bloody LIKE THEM!

agreed grimlocksnewbrain and check out the magic cloak of oz that film is cute and imaginative!

I usually see people saying "this film should never be remade", when they don't realize that the film which they're talking about is a remake itself. For example: The Wizard of Oz (1939).
