I loved the movie especially the midget harry earles, who gave a funny/scary performance. The old lady was great,I just wonder where the ventriloquist's dummy is now, must be worth alot. The language used was really bad case grammer, and laughable. I must see the talkie version,next...

Nice link on the movie. Definitely made some great points. The small person was great. Thought he looked familiar as he was one of the members of OZ's Lollipop Guild. EG Robinson attitude for sure.
That might have been a 3 foot chimp and they used trickery with perspective BUT that chimp looked awfully old. Definitely not a youthful chimp from my untrained eye. As I understand it, once they turn around 8 years they are powerful and can be mean. If anyone saw the news a couple of years ago about the lady that got her face ripped off by her older pet chimp ... wow it was terrible to see the face she was left with. And these actors were dealing with this old chimp that was probably mistreated way back then, and most likely pissed about it. I think they worked in perilous circumstance.
