What Kind of Car is He Driving

Anyone have any ideas on the make of car Keaton is driving in this film? I'm referring specifically to the two seat convertible that he slams into the tree.

At first I thought it was a c.1924 Dodge Brothers Roadster, but then checking with IMCDb.org, it's a 1922 Mercer Series 5 Raceabout.
