Where to find a copy (USA)

The local library, netflix, and blockbuster do not carry this movie......any ideas how to track down a copy?

I haven't had any luck either mike. The version I want is the longer one that was shown on TCM about a year ago. I hope they show it again so I can copy it.

I actually bought the 4 hour version off of eBay and it is perfect except for the fact it's a VHS. That doesn't bug me. I also ordered the script from Borders.(it was used) My guess is if you really want it, either order it online or wait until it comes on TCM again.

The best version, I believe, is the laser disk (12 inch) version as no DVD exists or is planned. I own a copy and it is far better than the VHS version. Copies of the laser disk come up on eBay periodically. However, they are not cheap, typically $25-$50. If you do not own a laser disk player, used ones are very cheap, about $25 on eBay for a good Pioneer. And, you might find it useful in viewing other classic films for which there is no DVD.

Check your local library. I got a VHS at mine just today - but it's only two hours long.
