Silent film fans rejoice! The 1924 silent version of Peter Pan will be closing out the Los Angeles Conservancy's Last Remaining Seats program at the Orpheum Theater with live organ accompaniment by Robert Israel. A major fundraiser for the Conservancy, LRS features six classic films in downtown LA's movie palaces. The Orpheum from 1926 is the fourth and final Orpheum vaudeville house built in Los Angeles, and must be seen to be believed. It is also the last theater in downtown LA with an organ. Also scheduled for that night is an introduction by Leonard Maltin, a demonstration of the organ playback system, and a drape show by famed theater curtain collector Steve Markham.
