'Mikael' A great find....

"Mikael"
This is a great discovery.
I saw this film on the TCM cable channel a few years ago,
I have been trying find more on this film, without any luck.
Not until I signed onto IMDB, I have found
the info I have always wanted.
(This isn't ad for IMDB)
Seeing Walter Slezak in 1924 at the age of 22?
He was in his 40's when he became the actor we are familiar with.
He seemed so young and and he was!
He kind of surprised me, in that he was trying to play
and older man with the fancy duds
and the posings (standing by the window looking far off yonder)
and the usual cig in his hand.
But he really was boy trying to be a man.
I don't know if they were lovers in the physical sense,
it doesn't make any difference.
They did love one another.
The artist lost him to that woman and she kept them apart.
'Mikael' then suffered a breakdown.
The artist had the disapproving friend
who also kept them apart.
That character seemed to have a change of heart,
but much too late for both, I would say.
What happened to 'Mikael?"
The same fate?
