Interesting find on the Blu-ray

I had written on this board a while back that the 1923 version of The Ten Commandments was included on the recent collector's set and in Blu. After recently returning to look at it, I found and interesting note that I'd like to share with you. There is a special feature that shows a segment of the film that has some scenes with the Handschiegl coloring process (notably the Exodus sequence). According to the preface on the Blu before the sequence plays, this came from a personal print of Cecil B. DeMille's that is now preserved in the George Eastman House. Seeing it makes me want to see that version released on home media as like a "original" or "alternate" version of the film we currently have out on the market.
