Will we ever see this film on DVD?
I don't care if reels are missing. I want to see this one!
shareMary tried her hardest to destroy all known reels of this film for reasons COMPLETELY unknown to anyone besides herself. I think it should be respected.
shareWhy should it be respected? It's a member of an endangered species, the silent film, which must be preserved at all costs, and it's an Ernst Lubitsch film - a particularly important one at that (his debut in America.)
Mary Pickford's attitude was foolish, an action that is only detrimental to film history and preservation.
