Man Ray's A Genius!

I did indeed enjoy this film. It definately fed my sight with interesting movements, ordinary objects and similarities in different objects. Even though the film was silent and in B/W, it was colorful in action. For instance, the torso and the mobile shared the almost same movement. Also, the shadow the mobile makes and the shadow from the window pane look remarkably comparable. Then you have the Rayograms, absolute genius. The images are everyday, household objects used for art. The way the objects looked at a fast pace and B/W was very intriguing. I didn't understand why the film induced a riot. We live in an entirely different generation, I suppose. I'd theorize the shot of the nude female torso. Which seems comical today but taken very seriously back then.
