What was the number 12 all about?

For those who've seen The Pilgrim, what does number "12" mean on top of the choir when Charlie was about to make his sermon?

Thanks

Remember when Charlie first entered the church, he acted as if it were a courtroom. The number 12 symbolized what he thought was a jury.

I know this thread is like a whole year old but I can't help myself. That is my favorite scene and I love when he is handed the bible to begin the service and he raises his right hand like he's going to be questioned. hilarious

I loved that part, too! I laughed out loud at it!

Haha, I loved that scene too! Though there was only a boy digging the sermon, lol.

Normal is not something to aspire to, it's something to get away from.

I laughed when he tried to put his foot up on the bar rail in the church. Also laughed out loud when he kept sitting down with the people expecting him to speak, good stuff.
