Buster was sooooooo...

CUTE in this movie. And much as I like his movies, I NEVER say that, but he was, he was so cute in this movie. Did anybody else think so?

reply

Oh I definitely agree!

I always felt he was quite good-looking and athletic in many of his movies. I think he down-played his looks but, especially in his early movie-days, he could be a looker.

reply

Yeah I agree with you guys! Right on! Buster is just a babe in general! <3

I saw The general a while back and I loved it when he chokes Annabelle and then kisses her and then gets back to work of engineering the train, and it's funny because he's got longer hair in that movie which I guess was how men wore it during the Civil War, so it's a traditional look, but from a modern point where men aren't supposed to have long hair, it's rebellious...he looks kind of like a roughneck but he is still so adorable. It's really kind of funny how he could simultaneously be so cute and adorable that you want to squeeze him, but at the same time he just oozed sex, even if it was never addressed, he was walking, breathing, sex appeal to watch, especially during the pool segment in The Cameraman. *Growl* LOL!

Buster, one hot dude under any circumstances, absolutely outdoes himself in adorability here.

Yes - I noticed this in Chaplin long ago, but now I'm seeing it Buster as well. Both men were awesome - little dynamos of talent and genius while also athletic and handsome! :-)

Of course with their backgrounds in music halls (Charlie) and vaudeville (especially Buster in his family's rough-and-tumble act), it's no wonder they were in great shape at the peak of their careers and pretty much remained so most of the rest of their lives.
