check your attic!

... hopefully SOMEONE has a good copy of this stuffed in the corner of their attic so the whole thing can be seen someday. Looks like a huge portion of this is still photos, and what surviving film there is has pretty poor quality. This is one of the four that Valentino made in 1922, after his biggie The Sheik. Also the first reference to a "Unitarian Church" that I have ever seen made in a film. I'm not usually a fan of silents, but after seeing "Moran" and "Rocks", I'd like to see more by R.V.

I enjoyed this movie. I don't usually enjoy pieced together silents but I thought this one was well done. About Rudy in those trunks... I NOW understand why the ladies loved him while men hated him. Obviously the men were jealous with the way Rudy filled out those shorts.
