Did Alexander Granach wear any kind of bald cap as Knock in Nosferatu (1922)?

Seeing as Max Schreck wore one as Count Orlok in Nosferatu, did Alexander Granach wear any kind of bald cap as Knock in Nosferatu (1922)? Or did he simply shave his head? Were the tufts of hair his own or were they fake?

I can't seem to find confirmation either way.
