Hi

Do you know what is the longest version of Nosferatu in minutes? as a friend was interested in knowing because he is trying to decide which version of the film to get on DVD.

I can recommend these ones, they are the newest restorations and longest versions available, both are the same, except the language of the intertitles.

The correct running time is something around the 90 minute mark, if the dvd you're looking at is any shorter, they're run at the wrong speed.

I've several versions of the film on DVD and some of them are closer to an hour and everyone looks like they've escaped a benny hill sketch

Also a F. W. Murnau Stiftung/Transit Film logo marks usuaslly the best version.
