Dressing scene.

I just watched the "Blood and Sand" KINO DVD, and was a little startled by the strange cuts during the scene in which Juan is getting dressed, and speaking with some journalists. We see over the top of the privacy screen that he is in his underclothes, and we see him put on his socks and shoes, and then all of a sudden, he is headed for the door, fully clothed.

So what happened to all that stuff in the middle? There's even a still from this scene on the back cover of the DVD.

Are there any existing versions of this movie that include the entire dressing scene? Also, why exactly was this scene edited? Surely it wasn't all that risque.

It's okay, Chief, I have my inflatable girl.

If you ever find the full version of this scene, could you let me know? I've been searching for it for years. My email is [email protected]. Thank you. -- Clare Higgins

There is nothing to indicate that such a scene exists. These films are often edited in such a way. That photo can very well be a promotional still that is not from the film at all. How much of Valentino's body do you think they could have shown back then?
