It has made me very sad that this board has seen no activity in two years and only has eight posts in total...

I just had to stop in and say how great this movie was! The atmosphere especially was just great in every different setting. When the two of them first walk into the room with all of the candles and the atmosphere instantly makes it clear what the room is and what it represents, it's just beautiful. Whether grim, mysterious, lively, or anything in between, Lang just portrayed each mood masterfully and was able to draw me in so deeply. Truly one of the best movies by one of the all time absolute greats.

It's not over, everybody betrayed me! I'm fed up with this world!

I am not sure if it's because my kids were running around or if there was just too much noise...but I could not get into this film. It seems to me I am a fan of silent comedies, more than silent dramas and/or silent fantasy films.

If you're not taking any steps forward, you're not moving at all.

After having this sit on the shelf for six years, I just watched it. Some really remarkable scenes, plus an unexpected female breast, which is always welcome.

Don't lend your hand to raise no flag atop no ship of fools.
