What a great talent and charm had Jackie Coogan. He turned into something watchable an awful re-make of "The Kid".
"My Boy" without Coogan would be simply one of the dullest movies ever made. But Jackie's presence redeems the movie to some extent.

You can watch this rare film if you rent or buy Warner-MK2 DVD for "The Kid" it comes as an extra in the 2nd disc. The print is in very bad shape and has not sound at all. Anyway, if you are fan of Jackie Coogan you might enjoy it mildly.
