First time watchers - READ

I caught this for the first time on TCM a couple months ago and thought it was awful, boring, and the score was dumb. Fast forward 5 months and I watch the new version put out by The Criterion Collection. What a difference! If you're watching this film for the first time through the Criterion Collection, WATCH IT WITH THE KTL SCORE! It is one of the most unsettling film experiences I've ever had.

I caught the version on TCM a few nights ago. It had the Matt Bye soundtrack. Does anyone know what songs he is using? SOme sounded original, but there were a few that sounded like reworking of pop songs.

WATCH IT WITH THE KTL SCORE! It is one of the most unsettling film experiences I've ever had.

Same here! My first viewing was an unforgettable experience, and it's almost the same every time I re-watch this terrific movie, and this has a lot to do with that eerie score.
