Why isn't this in the IMDb top 250?

Is it because it's a silent film?

I wonder the same thing. It has an 8.1 rating (comparing it to some films with an 8.0 rating and a 7.9 rating that made the list).

no there are other silent films on the list I guess this one doesn't have enough votes or something.
