Maybe not at his best, but one single scene makes it worth the price of admission: "The husband crying scene!"

Certainly Chaplin has made far better movies, but this scene, IMO, stands out 90 full years later as one of the most hilarious scenes ever filmed!

Whatever you do, DO NOT read this sig--ACKKK!!! TOO LATE!!!

The "crying" bit with the cocktail shaker is one of my all-time favorite Chaplin gags. The hotel lobby sequence (i.e. when Charlie realizes he forgot to put on his pants) is another favorite.

Come to think of it, it's the rich, drunken Charlie who gets the best material in this dual role.

I liked the crying bit also. I expected for him to turn around and we would see him laughing - but instead he had the cocktail shaker.
