Just watched this for the first time, what a marvellous piece - I can't believe it was originally shelved!! Its the kind of Keaton film I absolutely love. I had the good fortune to watch a big screen presentation of this last nite here in seattle with a live accompaniment by the talented Dennis James on the mighty wurlitzer organ. Amazing stuff...watch it!!!

I just watched this and it was one of the most entertaining flicks I've ever seen. It was, indeed, spectacular.

It is absolute genius and I can't for the life of me figure out why Buster didn't want to show it, why he didn't think it was funny enough. What more could he have done with it?
