Brilliantly funny

Aired as part of Paul Merton's 'Silent Clowns' series, it was so great to see the brilliance of Keaton being highlighted and maintained by those that appreciate his comedy even though times have obviously moved on so drastically.

I love to see that people are still romantic about silent movies and equally wonderful to see them on national TV, which doesn't happen anywhere near enough!

Maybe it's about time we had a silent movie channel? Surely there's room for one?

He has so meny funny shorts like this! Go to amazon and search "The Art Of Buster Keaton". You will see a $175.00 box set. It has about 11 of his best features and 30 of his best shorts. It's definetly worth the price

I'm all for a silent movie channel - one a week on TCM (if they don't show something else, like Frank Sinatra movies instead, like they're currently doing) is not enough. There are so many silent films out there (still!), that 100 or so hours a year doesn't make much of a dent. The only silent movie I've seen on Fox Movie Channel has been "Sunrise".
