119 Minute Version

I have a 1985 VHS Tape produced by Video Warehouse in West Long Branch, New Jersey. The cover for the tape states that it is 80 minutes long. However, the actual length of the movie on the tape is 119 minutes. I have seen numerous references to different lengths for this movie, but none close to 119 minutes. Can anyone explain why there are so many versions of this film?

In a nutshell: there aren't. The quality DVD releases of Zorro, using restored prints, may have an extra few frames here and there. However, generally any difference in length is explained by the speed the film has been transferred at:

All the quality DVDs of Zorro (I have four – hey, I'm a big Doug fan!) run at roughly 95-105 minutes, so your VHS tape must be really slooow.
