Relevance of Auction Of Souls posters?

Does anyone have an idea why there are Auction Of Souls posters in the final chase scene? I assume they are for the film released earlier in 1919. It's normal for studios to feature advertisements for their other films, but I can't find any connection linking these two films. Some act of goodwill/friendship possibly?
