'Three minds with but a single thought?'


One of the reviewers asks the meaning of this title card when Charlie sits near the jazz band and implies that it might have racist overtones. The single thought is that all 3 men are sea sick and not that the 2 musicians don't have a thought in their head or are incapable of thought.
