Walter Stradling

British-born cinematographer Stradling did an outstanding job here. Having Pickford as both Stella and Unity appear in the same frames with little indication of how it was accomplished with 1917 filming technology impressed me. Scene lighting and frame tinting show the producers' attention to detail.

The famous Busch Gardens of Pasadena which served as filming location for so many movies over decades appear here, too.

This is a must-see for Pickford fans.
