Am I the only person to find Stella annoying? (contains spoilers)

A bit of a spoiler to start, rising slowly to biggies at the end.....

OK, fair enough, she has been kept sheltered from the world for most of her life - her life experience is very limited.. and you could argue that her first reaction (spoiler alert increasing) to seeing some of the big bad world is to want to give several thousands of pounds to a woman beggar.. but..

A life style of excessive luxury, of fluffy kittens, boxes of chocolates and pampered pooches that would make the likes of Paris Hilton stop for a moment and think..

And the solution to the problem that she cannot have everything, absolutely everything she decides to want..?
Oh yes.. lets have the "poor little orfink girl".. who is dispensable because she is nowhere near as 'priddy' as darling Stella.. sacrifice herself...
